This tool is designed to accurately calculate the surface area of air ducts, which is essential for determining the quantity of insulation material, sheet metal, or paint required in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems. The calculator supports rectangular and circular ducts, allowing HVAC engineers, contractors, and estimators to generate fast and precise measurements for both material estimation and cost analysis.

Example Calculations:

🔹 Rectangular Duct:

  • Width = 600 mm, Height = 400 mm, Length = 3 meters

Area=2×(0.6+0.4)×3=2×1×3=6 m²\text{Area} = 2 \times (0.6 + 0.4) \times 3 = 2 \times 1 \times 3 = 6 \text{ m²}

🔹 Circular Duct:

  • Diameter = 500 mm, Length = 2 meters

Area=π×0.5×2=3.1416×1=3.14 m²\text{Area} = \pi \times 0.5 \times 2 = 3.1416 \times 1 = 3.14 \text{ m²}
